A new request for help came in a moment when our possibilities to help animals in special conditions are limited. Here you have the message we received.

“My name is Ramona P. and I really need your help . I am in a camp near Bucharest , at Izvorani , a camp organized by P&G for kids. Near Hotel Olimpia are approximately 6-8 stray dogs. One of them is a female dog, medium size, approximately 2-4 years old . She had an accident ( I think) and she got injured and now she is left with an open wound to her right leg . I don’t know how to help her and I am afraid it will get worst. She seems ok, she is eating, she is gentle but I think she needs help.
I saw her wonded two days ago when I arrived here (Monday the 13th), but having a lot of activities with kids here I didn’t succeed to get in touch with anyone. Please help her, I would be very grateful and so would the dog.”

With a lot of effort from Ramona and with the help of her colleagues, the dog reached Spiru Haret where she was treated and investigated. We will call her Rany. The wound is not due to fracture , that is good , but it takes a long time to heal. In all this period Rany must stay to Spiru Haret where her wound must be cleaned, treated and bandaged daily.
