Nobody likes seeing stray dogs in the streets. Some because they consider them aggressive or messy; others because they realize the lives of these dogs is often short, and involves enduring huger, cold, thirst and complete lack of affection.
We hope that soon all of us will be fighting for the same cause, namely minimizing the presence of homeless animals in the streets as much as possible.
The first step remains to spay/neuter animals, which also benefits their health. Leaving things up to each animal’s “luck” is not acceptable in the context of a civilized society.
These three female dogs live in the neighborhood of villas where currently there are also 20 puppies without too many chances at a decent life. These female dogs were spayed at a veterinary office that offers free spay/neutering services, where we chose to pay for dissolving sutures so as to avoid a second visit 2 weeks after the operation. If you live in the Prelungirea Ghencea area, then you are close to the SanitaVet office (12 Valea Oltului Street, Bloc C9, ground floor) which is one of the offices that take part in the sterilization program sponsored by City Hall.
Please help create a better world for us and for animals. Spay/neuter!
