For two young people this day was a sinister one. They found a dog with both eyes removed and tied to a fence with a cable. We don’t know exactly what happened to that dog, who treated him that badly or why, proving they’re capable of unspeakable cruelty, but we truly hope the police will shed some light on this situation. Necăjilă, the cat that fell from an upper floor, underwent surgery today. As we were afraid, he didn’t only have a femur fracture, but also a humerus fracture, along with a bone splinter completely detached from the bone, in the elbow area, that had to be removed entirely. Sara’s journey through life seems to be almost over. Although she’s only 9 years old, Sara is suffering from a severe form of leukemia. Lately, she’s been feeling weak, she’s losing weight and won’t eat anymore. Today we ran some blood tests, and came up with the mentioned diagnosis. Someone informed us that, behind a tall building, an injured cat was lying in a pit, with his face covered in blood. We answered to that call, and found him: a young, clean male cat, that was in shock, in pain and frightened to death.
When we got there, who knows how many hours after he fell, he was wet because of the rain, and he had fly-eggs all over his fur. Continue reading →

Big, gentle, unlucky but in the same time lucky, that would be the description of the dog we will name Dag, and that arrived in our care. Dag had the bad luck to be seriously injured, he remained without an ear and has a broken paw. The dog from these images hasn’t reached the age of 1 year yet and already had the bad luck to be messed up for life. We don’t know what happened with him and for what reason he has no tail and why his spine is broken. He was seen 3 days ago and since, the one who saw him searched for a solution for him.
The dog is now at a clinic the vets that saw his radiography (x-rays) say that he has no chance for recovery to use his back legs. Continue reading →

This female dog was found on a field, where she was probably abandoned because of her health condition: she suffers from a vulva cancer. She will undergo surgery next week, under the medical care of dr Bercaru’s team.

A few days ago we found this female dog that seemed to have had her days numbered on a side walk.

She was hospitalized immediately and her analysis revealed too many problems.

Hope had treatment and now she seems like she feels better. She eats well enough and at some point she shyly wagged her tail to tell us that she really appreciate the help we give her. Continue reading →

Today we had a shock when we saw in what situation is this poor female dog. The little one HAS an owner and her problem lasts for 2 years now, time in which her masters waited to heal itself. Their expectations were deceived and more than that this poor soul is now in a situation from which we do not know if she could be saved.
Yesterday her masters phoned us to ask us to come to make her an injection. Of course they meant to euthanize her. Continue reading →

This was the phrase said by the vet that analyzed the blood samples: regarding what this blood samples show this dog couldn’t possibly live.
Let me tell you her story. Today I saw her sleeping on a side walk. I couldn’t believe she looked in this horrible way so I approached to see what’s wrong with her. I left immediately to seek for help. When I was back the female dog was slowly heading towards a road directly under the wheels of a car, or actually under the tram approaching her.
