URGENT we need temporary foster homes in Bucharest, beginning on Thursday, June 20, for 2-4-6 kittens aged 2-3 months. We were informed there are “a few” kittens in a warehouse, and they must be made to “disappear” in other ways, less pleasant. We are going to try and catch them, but, even if there are only 2 of them, we don’t have a place to keep them. The female Bichon was adopted
The little girl has already been adopted by a family that went by the clinic where she was spayed. They were there to give away the stuff they had for their dog, who passed away. It was love at first sight, and the lady couldn’t go home without her.
What are the wonderfull ones doing?
You’ve seen us eating with a big appetite, well… now we’re showing you how well behaved we are. We’re grooming thoroughly after each meal because, you know, we are perfectly capable to get very dirty, spilling food all over us:) Sometimes we’re sticking our tongues out, we take funny positions… life is beautiful, but it’s always better to live it within a family. Special case- Downcast, Tomcat fallen from a block
Necăjilă, the cat that fell from an upper floor, underwent surgery today. As we were afraid, he didn’t only have a femur fracture, but also a humerus fracture, along with a bone splinter completely detached from the bone, in the elbow area, that had to be removed entirely. We can’t even imagine how severely the hit was when he fell, in order to get his bone torn that way. Continue reading
Abandoned Bichon
After an entire day spent in the sun at the shelter, we were rushing back home, and just as we were about to ride down Splaiul Unirii, we saw a very confused furry white shorty that was trying to find a path around moving cars.

Special case. Sara – 9 years old – in need of financial support
Sara’s journey through life seems to be almost over. Although she’s only 9 years old, Sara is suffering from a severe form of leukemia. Lately, she’s been feeling weak, she’s losing weight and won’t eat anymore. Today we ran some blood tests, and came up with the mentioned diagnosis. We also began the symptomatic treatment today, but we won’t know for sure if it works. Continue reading
Special case – Tomcat fallen from a block
Someone informed us that, behind a tall building, an injured cat was lying in a pit, with his face covered in blood. We answered to that call, and found him: a young, clean male cat, that was in shock, in pain and frightened to death.
When we got there, who knows how many hours after he fell, he was wet because of the rain, and he had fly-eggs all over his fur. Continue reading
Sentenced to death by starvation
Last night, between the clatterings of the rain, one could hear the crying of a kitten coming from the basement of a block where the air openings had just been stopped up. Everybody in the block was at home (it was 11 o’clock at night), but not one of them was at least curious to come out and see what was happening. They probably simply turned the tvs or computers louder, for the noise to stop disturbing them.
