ATTENTION, SHOCKING IMAGES! Sad ending for a cat

We don’t know what happen with this unlucky cat and how she end up in a container with resin. We do know that she suffered a lot and that all our efforts to save her were in vain.
We know that there is a need for a law that can protect cats as well. In the first law proposal, that we collaborated and that was initiated by ex-senator Marius Mariunescu, there were laws that protected the cats. Continue reading

Shadow for Robi’s Dogs

As you well know our shelter shelters approximately 170 dogs and is located outside Bucharest on a field. Because is very hot and our little ones need sun protectors, yesterday some of our volunteers placed over the dogs pens sun protecting materials. (to offer them shadow at sun time) They managed to do this on some pens only. It takes pretty much time to place one piece and because of this we need help. If you can offer your time and wish to help us to set up the sun protectors over the pens please contact us at: asociatia.robi@gmail.com Continue reading

Husky Cross and 2 puppies – for adoption

While the authorities are busy inventing the most absurd solutions to reduce the number of stray dogs, for instance trying to pass a law to fine (5000 RON) the people that feed the strays, irresponsible owners continue to abandon their animals without fear of being fined at all, even though for this crime called ABANDONMENT there is an article of legislation and a right punishment: PRISON, according to the Law for the protection of animals no 9/2008. A special day for Robi’s Cats

Today was a special day for our cats and some of our dogs. Carmen, Mirela, Monica and Alexandru came to visit, met them, caress them and made them happy. The happiest was Lenor, a young affectionate female dog  who hasn’t been long with us and we haven’t yet promoted her for adoption. The kittens were a little bit stressed, but they gradually relaxed. They will benefit from the goodies brought by our new friends which we thank a lot, for the visit and for the things they donated to our little proteges. Continue reading

Lexi returned in our care

Lexi was brought back. It wasn’t easy at all for her to change location and to be rejected twice. She is a very pretty and well behaved cat, that’s why we know it for sure that the next adoption will be the perfect and final one for her.
The first time she was brought back after just a few hours, the second after a longer time, and the reason was that she sometimes missed the litter box.

Hope starts to live again

Hope, a female dog that was, a while ago, the subject of one of the special cases we take care of, is beginning to recover.
She is more and more present and, even if it will take a lot of time until her body will be covered in fur (we hope that’s going to be the final result), we are rejoicing at her joy when she discovers what it is like to have someone to take care of her, to give her plenty of food and water, a shelter above her head and lots of love.  Continue reading

The puppies from the tram are waiting to be adopted

The three puppies abandoned in a tramway are growing up nicely, they are healthy and eager to meet their new owners. Two of them are more industrious, and one is a little bit lazy, he’d rather stay in his nest so now we can only see his belly. We’ll be back with more photos of the tram doggies which are idling away their time in the coolness of shadow.
In case you’re tempted to adopt one of them, please contact us at:

Special case. Little one needs help

This female dog was found on a field, where she was probably abandoned because of her health condition: she suffers from a vulva cancer. She will undergo surgery next week, under the medical care of dr Bercaru’s team.

You can help her by donating in this account:
