We saved Nimbus with great difficulty from the hot air ducts in the Patria Cinema, when he was a little kitten. He was adopted soon after and for two years he has been living happily in his home. But a few days ago he was sent back to us, because someone in the family developed a very strong allergy and cannot tolerate him anymore. Continue reading

Donate a can
Dear friends, the doggie and kitty tails at ROBI invite you Saturday, April 27, between the hours of 12 and 6 PM, to our new “Donate a can of food” event!
Although we are all so happy with the arrival of spring and sunny weather to warm us after an unfriendly winter, we think of all the cats and dogs that will be born this season. We need your help to offer them a good life until they can be adopted.
Special case! Hope is feeling a little better!
A few days ago we found this female dog that seemed to have had her days numbered on a side walk.
She was hospitalized immediately and her analysis revealed too many problems.
Hope had treatment and now she seems like she feels better. She eats well enough and at some point she shyly wagged her tail to tell us that she really appreciate the help we give her. Continue reading

Thank you Alessandra C!
A few days ago, Alessandra contacted us because she wanted to donate a bed, some toys and high quality food to little Abby. Because she is unable to adopt, she thought to offer these wonderful gifts for which we wholeheartedly thank her.
Thank you Alessandra, and we wish you all the best!
The ‘stray dogs’ business
Homeless dogs represent a multi-million euro business in Romania. City halls in large cities throughout the country have allocated large sums of money for the capture, transport and sheltering of stray dogs, however, the results are far from satisfactory. Here we present you the current situation in three large Romanian cities where a virtual industry, inefficiently controlled by controversial businessmen and tolerated by the authorities, developed and depends on the presence of homeless dogs.
Aimee paralyzed dog in need of wheelchair

The recovery is really slow and the little one needs a wheelchair for the back legs. Aimee is now in foster care and Valentina is the one that takes care of her now and to who we want to thank from the bottom of our hearts because she offered to give a chance to the poor unlucky.
A dog wheelchair costs 150 euros. Please help us to buy it for her. Continue reading
Bibi and a really happy ending
She was called Tibi. Now she is Bibi and we can state that the little one has a happy life now.
Ever since she was born she ONLY stayed in an apartment. Her master tried to take her out for a walk once and because the dog was scared she decided not to take her out again. Recently her master died and the female dog and 6 kittens had to leave the apartment in which they spent all their lives.
INCREDIBLE CASE. Attention! Shocking images.
Today we had a shock when we saw in what situation is this poor female dog. The little one HAS an owner and her problem lasts for 2 years now, time in which her masters waited to heal itself. Their expectations were deceived and more than that this poor soul is now in a situation from which we do not know if she could be saved.
Yesterday her masters phoned us to ask us to come to make her an injection. Of course they meant to euthanize her. Continue reading

Raluca and Valentin visiting Robi’s Cats
It’s Sunday, a day when most people take time to relax. For Raluca and Valentin it’s also a day of relaxation, however, for them, relaxation is a bit different. Today they came to visit the cats at ROBI and of course brought delicious food and treats for the little ones. Pisa was the first beneficiary of this donation and showed her appreciation.
