Vanilla- the dog chased away by her owners

vanillaVanilla is a female dog we use to often see in front of her yard, on our way to the shelter. In tha last months, though, she was seen only outside her yard.

We asked her owners about this and found out the reason: because she was making ‘a mess’ in the yard, they don’t want her anymore so they kicked her out. The little dog didn’t understand what happened so she kept waiting for the door to open and, each time one of the family members got out, she followed faithfully behind. Continue reading →

Nina needs help

ninaNina was found recently outside Bucharest. She was all alone and seemed very scared. She was taken in our care and just a few days later we found out she has distemper. Nina is still very weak and we hope she reacts to the treatment.
