She was kept in temporary accommodation until a day ago and she behaved very well. If there is someone who would like to keep her until she recovers or adopt her please let us know.

He was not forgotten on the street. Patrocle was wandering.
Today we went to the centre for collection of recyclable materials and we found out that the little one, named by them Patrocle, is a dog they found about two weeks ago. After having found him, they took him to the vet and treated him, groomed him, given him a haircut etc. But Patrocle has the habit of wandering around so last night at closing time he was missing. By chance we found him. Today Patrocle was neutered and returned to the people at the centre. He needs though to be adopted by someone who has time to take care of him, so if you want to adopt the smart Patrocle, we’re waiting for a message at:

Meeting at the General City Hall on Thursday, July 11, 2013, for the dismissal of the ASPA leaders
Thursday, July 11, 2013, between 12.00 and 14.00, the organizations for the protection of animals and representatives of the civil society that care for animals are organizing the protest meeting at the City Hall, demanding that the leaders of the Authority for Surveillance and Protection of animals should be dismissed.
The term of office for the present leadership is expiring in August, and we want it not to be extended. We are specifically referring to the terms of office of Mr. Treeroiu Bogdan for the position of General Director of the Authority, the terms of office of the project directors Razvan Bancescu and Ancuta Claudiu – they all should not be kept anymore in their positions. Little dog found wondering
The little dog in these images was found at the crossing between Sos Giurgiului and Sos Luica. He was seen crossing the street and hardly avoiding being hit by a car. He was desperately trying to enter a yard belonging to a centre for collection of recyclable materials, but the gates were shut and nobody was inside. Ion, Dan and us thank you from all our soul for your help
We recently asked for help as we needed a bicycle for Ion, one of our trusted people at the shelter. We received a few offers and, as it was urgent, we took the first one, meaning the pink one. As the pink bike was kind of small for Ion and we were lucky to receive other offers, we finally got other two very good bicycles which are much appreciated by Dan and Ion, our trusted people at the shelter.

8 cats need help
Some of the kitties we recently took over are having health and adjustment problems. Six kittens have fever, no other symptoms, and they have been treated daily for a few days. They had stopped eating, but now they started to recover. The Burmese cat cannot really get used to living in common with other cats, and the recently neutered black cat who adopted all the kittens is suffering too because of the change in her location. The adult cats were found on the street and saved by good-hearted people. Continue reading
