What do Romanians throw away like garbage? Everything they can’t use, including alive helpless souls. A little family, mother and three puppies, was abandoned on the road to our shelter. The mother is old, the puppies are massively infested with ascarides and we don’t know whether they’ll survive. Besides, they have eye and skin problems. – He started to eat
– He is not yelling due to pain anymore, unless he is moved

Every day we swear we will never take any other animal in our custody. We already have too many for our possibilities. Besides, honestly speaking, we cannot take it anymore, to keep tormented animals in our arms and watch them die. It’s too much suffering and we cannot handle it anymore.

It was Stevie, a racked dog from Romania
Stevie with his eyes taken out and left tied to a fence left today this world that brought him a lot of pain and unfortunately his end as well.
He seemed to be better and that he will be able to cross over this terrible event in his life. Sadly this was just a chimera as we found out yesterday when we did a generic ultrasound. The doctor that investigated him dr. Dana Cristian didn’t give him any chance of survival and just after a day everything she said came true. Continue reading

Again INCREDIBLE ROMANIA
To see a dog lying down near a veterinarian clinic is an ordinary thing in Romania. Many of the vet doctors ask you, in case you take a stray to them, if you can pay for him or her. In case that dog has a serious problem and you can’t afford to pay, doctors don’t pay any attention to him (we’re talking especially about big fancy clinics), so the animal may die without having been looked at once.
Today, a dog hit in a car accident has been lying and howling in pain all day long, near Ilioara clinic. His spine is probably broken. A young lady saw him and she dared to ask the doctors at Ilioara if they know about the dog and especially if they can help him in any way. Continue reading
Stevie yesterday and today
As we were telling you, Stevie has bad days but also good days. Yesterday he started to explore the surroundings and, for a first time, we can say he did ok. The little one managed to climb up and then down the first obstacle without help. He was taken out in the yard and it meant a new experience for him, experience that he liked and it tired him, so he quickly found a cozy basket to get some rest. Continue reading
