Ion, Dan and us thank you from all our soul for your help
We recently asked for help as we needed a bicycle for Ion, one of our trusted people at the shelter. We received a few offers and, as it was urgent, we took the first one, meaning the pink one. As the pink bike was kind of small for Ion and we were lucky to receive other offers, we finally got other two very good bicycles which are much appreciated by Dan and Ion, our trusted people at the shelter.
8 cats need help
Some of the kitties we recently took over are having health and adjustment problems. Six kittens have fever, no other symptoms, and they have been treated daily for a few days. They had stopped eating, but now they started to recover. The Burmese cat cannot really get used to living in common with other cats, and the recently neutered black cat who adopted all the kittens is suffering too because of the change in her location. The adult cats were found on the street and saved by good-hearted people. Continue reading

Taxi arrived at his home
Taxi is one of the 7 puppies born by a semi wild doggy near our shelter a long time ago. The mother disappeared and we took over the puppies. Taxi is one of the lucky ones. He was recently adopted in another country and he now has a dream life. His owner is very pleased with his little friend from Romania. We are happy too to see him loved and taken care of by his owner.
Adela received A+ at the Dogs’ School
Dax is now a happy dog
A few months ago we asked for your help regarding a family of five (mother and four puppies) who needed temporary foster homes.
All the family was sheltered by one of the Robi volunteers and two of the puppies have already been adopted. Kiki, Allya and Babs are still waiting in the shelter for a chance to reach their own families too. Dax, the beige one with a black muzzle, was adopted far away from Romania and his owners are delighted by the fact that he proves to be an intelligent dog, quick to learn everything he needs to know. We are happy for him and wish him a long and happy life together with his family.
Sad Story from Romania
If we say Romania is ANIMALS’ HELL, trust us, we’re not exagerating. For more than 12 years we’ve been trying to have a constructive dialogue with the authorities, but unfortunately our efforts are in vain. We have finally reached the conclusion that the authorities don’t want to solve the stray animals’ problem and we’re sorry to say we’re not mistaken. Abandoning animals is allowed and even encouraged by Romanian authorities who fail to take measures to stop this current practice.
People abandon, on a daily basis, their excess animals or the ones that didn’t amuse them anymore. Continue reading
