This morning, we received a new call for help:
“Good morning,
I am writing to ask for your help concerning a puppy (no older than 4 months old) probably hit by a car that cannot move.
He is at the bus station across the street from Rahova Penitenciary , Alexandria street.
I saw that his back legs are injured and cannot move, clinging and crying to every person for help.
It broke my heart that I couldn’t help him, not even with some food.
Please, if you can, save him!”

Of course, we will never know who hit her, who placed her under a tree on a pile of garbage and why no one helped her. She cried for hours in a row, asking for help but it seems like romanian people also suffer from 2 disabilities: they are blind and deaf when it comes to the needs of a helpless animal.
The puppy was taken in our care today, received medical care at City Vet clinic and will have some rays done tomorrow. Cora seems to have her spine broken which is a big problem for her future. Tomorrow we will see what her chances look like.
