Necăjilă, the cat that fell from an upper floor, underwent surgery today. As we were afraid, he didn’t only have a femur fracture, but also a humerus fracture, along with a bone splinter completely detached from the bone, in the elbow area, that had to be removed entirely. We can’t even imagine how severely the hit was when he fell, in order to get his bone torn that way.
Necăjilă has a long way until recovery, he’ll have to move around as less as possible for at least two weeks. For now, he will remain admitted to the clinic under observation. He’s very bitter and, hardly, with all the care we can provide, he’ll get used to his new life, miserably started due to last owner.
We forgot to let you know that we placed ads in the area where he was found, and we only received a strange phone call, from a man who wasn’t sure if the cat fell from his window, but he would go home to “count his cats”, and call us back. He didn’t call back, but he did say he was glad that the poor cat ended up in good care.
We thank those who already supported Necăjila financially and we’d like to remind you the accounts where you can donate for him:
