The little skinny one had spent three days with an open fracture and that’s why his paw had to be amputated. Gangrene had caught his leg and unfortunately it couldn’t be saved anymore.

Besides, he also had babesiosis and that induced a serious condition of his health. His gums were white and, in order to save him, a transfusion was necessary. His luck was Scharo, an adult male already used to be the one that saves his fellows. It’s not the first time that Scharo donates blood and for that he deserves all our congratulations and good wishes.

Now the puppy is feeling OK and he really needs help, meaning a temporary foster home. He doesn’t need special cares, just a bit of attention, good food and vitamins, calcium and minerals supplements.
